“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING MAYOR HERNANDEZ TO PADLOCK GUARDHOUSE”
WHEREAS, the existing contract with Sidekick Force Investigation and Security Services Inc (hereinafter referred to as “Sidekick” brevity) has been terminated pursuant to the Notice of Termination issued by Sidekick effective February 1, 2021;
WHEREAS, the security guards of Sidekick, SG. Bella Baltazar and SG. Manuel Ariola (hereinafter both referred to as “SG” for brevity), were informed on the termination and were expected to leave VHHOA immediately on February 1, 2021 and turn over the guardhouse to VHHOA Officers and Board;
WHEREAS, on February 1, 2021, SG refused to leave the guardhouse and called some homeowners to convene at the gate causing disruption to our peace and order;
WHEREAS, with the refusal of SG to leave the guardhouse, VHHOA is prevented from working with another security agency to provide security to homeowners of Phase 4 Eastwood Greenview;
WHEREAS, VHHOA Board fears that SG might cause damage to the electronic barrier at the gate and cause further disruption to our peace and order;
WHEREAS, the guardhouse sits on a road lot owned by the Municipality of Rodriguez;
WHEREAS, the municipal mayor has every right to padlock it in the event of disruption of peace and order;
WHEREAS, the by-laws of the association stipulates that the Board of Directors shall act in all instances on behalf of the Association, now therefore be it:
RESOLVED, that the Board shall request, as it hereby requests, Hon. Dennis Hernandez to padlock the guardhouse of Phase 4 Eastwood Greenview in order to restore peace and order;
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of Victoria Hills Homeowners Association, Inc. this February 1, 2021 in Rodriguez, Rizal.
